Electrode selection principle

The selection of welding electrodes shall be based on the premise of ensuring the safe and feasible use of the welding structure. The recovery welding consumables shall be based on the chemical composition, mechanical properties, plate thickness and joint form of the materials to be welded, the characteristics of the welding structure, the state of stress, and the conditions of use of the structure. After the comprehensive examination of performance requirements, welding construction conditions, and technical and economic benefits, the welding rods were targeted, and if necessary, weldability tests were also required.
